Suzume Amano (Japanese: 天野 雀 Amano Suzume) is an actress and plays a major role in a new upcoming Japanese soap. For the majority of the series she was a third year at Shiratorizawa Academy and member of the drama club.
Appearance
Personality
Suzume also is very strict when it's about rules because she doesn't want the stress of getting in trouble or something like that when it could be avoided, she is too lazy for that. She is mostly described as nonchalant as she never feels the urge or has a reason to put stress on herself or act according to other people's wishes. Of course, there are times she is about to snap but after she let it all out she's fine again, she is not the type of person that reimagines moments in her life she could or should have made a different decision.
Background
Suzume grew up in the countryside and since her early years she was fascinated by old and classic movies which her father showed her. Their movie collection belonged to her mother who died in a car accident when Suzume was just two years old. Because of that passion for movies, Suzume decided to become an actress in the future. At first, it just sounded like a normal childish dream but after some time has passed her father saved enough money for her to attend a children's drama camp and with that Suzume's passion just grew.
Growing up without a mother, she was kind of spoiled by her father and big brother which she didn't really approve to. So she was often outside to have some space for herself.
Concerning school, she wasn't very good or bad, her grades were average. But when the time to apply for a high school came closer, she learned as much as she ever had in her entire life because she totally wanted to enroll in Shiratorizawa Academy because their drama club is supposed to be the most professional compared to any other school in the prefecture. Fortunately, she managed to get accepted, the recommendations of her former club's supervisor helped a lot.
After high school: Suzume studied dramatics/performing arts and started working at a theatre after she finished her studies. Just recently she attended a casting for a small role in a new Japanese soap and surprisingly she got a major role instead. Soon productions will begin.

Relationships
Loveinterest:
Satori Tendou (Tendou | Ume-chan, Sadako)
They know each other since their first year of high school. They first met when Tendou visited Ushijima during a break in his classroom. There he saw Ushijima talking to Suzume about some class related stuff and Tendou just popped up behind her like "Eeeh~? Wakatoshi-kun has a friend beside me? I never knew". But Suzume just looked at him for a short moment and then continued her conversation with her classmate and ignored Tendou pretty bad. He obviously didn't like that and since then Tendou tried to get her into a normal conversation and gain her attention but it was useless. She always blocked him and had to create a new mental category named 'annoying idiot', just for him.
After a month, Tendou's persistence started to pay off. Suzume seemed to notice him, or better said, to notice what he had in his hands: "So you're really an idiot...", she said and pointed at the new Shounen Jump. Tendou was first perplexed because it's the first time she directly talked to him and at the same time it was a bout a topic all his clubmates did not want to talk about. "...my brother reads that too...seems lie idiots stick together", she explained further on so Tendou could understand. "Me? An idiot?! If one needs to be an idiot to have good taste in literature then you are free to call me an idiot. And what can I call you?", he asked and after a moment of silence Suzume told him her name. So they got to know each other and they began talking more regularly but still pretty one-sided.
Their relationship is a bit rough because both don't hold back on comments, like Tendou once said "Do you use a new champoo? Your hair smells strange" and Suzume just answered "You smell like sweat..." not caring much and Tendou just lifted his hands "There you got a point". Or when Suzume told him that she is member of the drama club he only laughed and said that it is so much out of character as he can't imagine her showing many emotions on stage. But they still support each other and their interests. Suzume sometimes forgets her laziness and watches some games of him, while Tendou also comes to a few perfomances of her club when he has enough time. When Tendou is bored he sometimes helps Suzume learning her texts because it can be really entertaining for him; he tries to change his voice fitting to the character he reads. But for Suzume it's not that funny or helpful at all because she can't concentrate if he jokes around and she is very strict with him doing this properly.
During their second year of high school their relationship became more deep and both started having romantic feelings for each other. So they began to act a bit strange arround each other like Suzume caring more about her look or Tendou making little hints like "Maybe you'll become a popular actress in the future! You know, I really like cute actresses!". For people around them it was pretty obvious that they feel this way, especially when both started to talk much about each other's interests. Once when Suzume made a comment about the weekly jump in a conversation with her friends, they were just like 'the hell?', but also she herself was wondering where that came from.
At the beginning of their third year, they started dating, which came out of nowhere. Tendou helped her learning her texts again because she promised she would buy him chocolate icecream afterwards. And while they were practicing, Tendou just looked up to her and said "Hey, let's start dating"-"Tendou, that's not in the text, concentrate..."-"No, I really mean it like I said, let's date!"-"...ok, why not?". It was pretty lame how they just agreed on dating lie that but they didn't regret it.
Now their relationship is as relaxed as at the beginning, they still tease each other and don't fear to be blunt but at the same time it's much more emotional. Tendou even manages to make Suzume blush and she is able to cool her crush down a bit when he is too hyped or acting arrogant again. Tendou is the type to shower her with affection and isn't afraid of showing it in public while Suzume dislikes hugging or kissing when other people are around, so Tendou usually holds back to be considerate. They seem to be a bit scary for outsiders but what matters is that they love each other in their own way.
After the timeskip: tba...
Friends:
Wakatoshi Ushijima (Ushijima-san | Amano-san)
They are classmates and mostly interact in class, especially because Suzume is sitting right next to him and when one of both doesn't know or understand a task they ask each other. Since Suzume began to interact more with Tendou, she and Ushujima started seeing each other more often because Tendou always wanna show her how awesome his friend is. After Ushijima got together with Suzume's roommate and friend, Fuyuki, they talk to each other on regular basis. They get along pretty well because both are the silent and direct type of person.
Fuyuki Takasaki (Fuyuki | Suzume-chan)
She got to know her in the girls' dorms as they turned out to be roommates. At first sight, both are very different from each other, maybe too different to get along. But they turned out to be a good combo and even better friends. Suzume is the calm and self-confident person Fuyuki needs to have some hold for her problems and someone she can talk to about her fears and feelings. Also Suzume can be her harsh and strict self, which is needed to get some sense into Fuyuki's thick head when she's about to overwork herself again. In return, Fuyuki offers Suzume warm fellowship and supports her in everything she's doing and gives her advice in things Suzume is not really experienced in, like the relationship with Tendou.
Both got used to each other's quirks like that Suzume can sleep better with windows open and Fuyuki needs warmth to sleep, so in winter they deal with it by playing scissors, rock and paper (usually Suzume wins).
Apart from that both are supporting each other with their crushs, Fuyuki tends to get a bit too excited for both SatoUme and Suzume just shows her support in trying to stop Tendou from annoying Fuyuki and Ushijima. Suzume and Fuyuki trust each other, especially Fuyuki who eats everything up from her while Suzume still is a bit more sceptical, but that's also a thing that the scary girl likes about her friend.
